The proceeds from this fund will support an annual college scholarship for a Lowell High School graduating senior who has attended San Francisco Public Schools from kindergarten through twelfth grade and has shown exceptional committment to the arts and/or public service.
The fund will be managed by the Lowell Alumni Association, which is recognized as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization by the IRS. Donations to the Sylvia Manjarrez Walker Memorial Scholarship Fund are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed under federal law. The Lowell Alumni Association’s federal tax id number is 94-6125408.
